I've been chatting to Doreen (dorat84) this morning and telling her some of you have asked how she is. She says she is alive and kicking and sends her love to all her old friends.

She's not a member of NRAS anymore, Jane. I speak to her a lot. She's had a nasty year one way or another with her own health probs and also scares with Ian, but they are both doing OK now. Seeing them on the 28th-they're coming over for my 70th. Gosh, how scary is that? I still feel the same as I did when I was a teenager-I was knackered then as well! Xx

Have a great get together, and a fab birthday give my best wishes to all.
We went to visit my husbands brother last night at the family farm.
He is 70 in August and is still farming!!
He has cut down a bit over the last couple of years but still keeps going.
Amazing with all his aches and pains, being out in all weathers all his life!!

Hi Jean, Nice to see you popping in - we just got back from Portugal yesterday, after two wonderfully relaxing weeks in the sun, so I`m gradually coming back down to earth. I didn`t realise you had such a birthday milestone coming up - age is just a number, isn`t it? Keep well, and see you in Grantham. Kathleen x

How are you? I've lost your e-mail and it's about time we went out for another lunch and a catch up! Let me know if you don't have my e-mail address. If you are around on the 6th August we have our NRAS afternoon tea and fundraiser in Bolton and would love to see you and any others in your group. Tracey is coming up so it will e quite a special afternoon. Hope to speak soon.
